Chris Limparis, a partner in the firm, oversees
the firm’s accounting and audit practice.
She specializes in working with
owner-managed businesses in a variety of
industries.
After graduating summa cum laude from
Mount St. Mary’s in Emmitsburg, Maryland in
1987, she worked for eight years with a regional
public accounting firm prior to co-founding HLA
in 1995.
Especially adept at managing audit activity and
working with business owners and top management,
Chris specializes in financial statement
accounting and auditing for both for-profit and
not-for-profit businesses.
In addition, her experience includes
assistance with business startups, profit and
cash flow forecasts and projections, negotiating
with banks for financing, and government
contract overhead submissions.
Chris is a member of several professional
and community organizations including The
Rotary Club of Carroll Creek where she has
served on the Board of Directors as well as
the membership and program committees.
A member of the Frederick County
Chamber of Commerce, she previously served
as treasurer on the Board of Directors and
Executive Committee for three years.
